THE Lions Club of Crediton and District celebrated its 47th Charter Anniversary with a splendid dinner at the Waie Inn, Zeal Monachorum.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Lion Eric Parkes MJF and Grace was given by Lion Tony Fitzwalter.
The Loyal Toast was by Lion Bronwyn Nott and Lions President Ann Whitehouse gave an address and the Toast to Lions Clubs International.

Tributes were paid to Lion Eric Parkes on his recent honour of the International President's medal for his long and outstanding service.
