SANDFORD Art and Craft Fair is a popular and busy event and is now in its 39th year!

It will take place from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, November 16 at Sandford Parish Hall.

It is renowned for the quality and range of local arts and crafts on offer, and this year 33 stalls will be selling local art, crafts and handmade gifts, including glass, pottery, baskets, wood and metal work, textiles, felt and quilts, paintings, drawings, prints and cards, a wide variety of jewellery, handmade soaps and natural cosmetics, chocolates, fudges, local honey products and other treats.

There will be something for everyone and it is an ideal opportunity for stocking up on Christmas presents and treats.

The café will be selling a wonderful range of homemade cakes and soups with lots of vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices.

There will be the popular craft raffle made up of quality prizes and a children’s craft activities on the stage area.

This year it will be raising funds to support the work of the MND Association (Motor Neurone Disease Association) and BCRT (Bone Cancer Research Trust), and with Friends of Sandford School running the café and raising funds for a range of creative projects in school.

Organiser, Bindy Saywood says: “It is a fun and lively event and well worth a visit.

“There is a mix of professional artists and makers, local crafters and makers of wonderful local produce. It is a fun community and fundraising event to be part of. We hope to see you there!”
