A WALK looking at trees along Crediton footpaths is set to be held in the town.
The event will start at 11am on Sunday, November 17 at St Lawrence Green.
Town councillor Giles Fawssett and Anne Stobart will lead the walk along footpaths to Queen Elizabeth’s Lower School, Barnfield.
“This walk along Stonypark Lane is suitable whatever your level of knowledge of trees,” a spokesperson said.
“We will be pointing out significant trees, and talking about ways in which they can be recorded by photos and location.
“It is also an opportunity to find out more about the proposed development of a tree warden network in the local area.
“Please note that although the path is firm underfoot there are quite a few concrete steps uphill near the start.”
