THE annual Lin Ashman Trophy between the Ladies and Men's Seniors Sections at Downes Crediton Golf Club took place on Tuesday, October 8.

The rain was torrential, but everyone enjoyed the match with the Men’s Seniors coming out on top, 4-1.

A fantastic meal was served afterwards in the clubhouse.

Downes Crediton Golf Club is an 18 hole parkland course.

A flat front nine holes is followed by a more undulating back nine with water hazards on a number of holes.

It has full catering and bar facilities. Societies, corporate and visitors are always welcome, including weekends.
