THERE has been some very good results at Downes Crediton Golf Club.
On Monday, May 20, it was Alistair Todd who scored a nett 71 to take this month’s Seniors May medal with Alwyn Evan also scoring nett 71 to finish second, losing to a better back nine.
On Wednesday, May 22, Phillip Moffatt won the Mid Week Stableford with a score of 32 points.
The following day, Liz Guildford scored a superb 39 points to win the Ladies Stableford Four (Woolacott Trophy), with Fran Shrubsole finishing second with a score of 32 points.
In the Nine-hole Stableford it was Diane Botterill who scored 14 points to claim top spot.
The winner of the Thursday Nine-hole Roll-Up Stableford was Liam Whittleston with 19 points.
On Saturday, May 25 Matt Slee scored a brilliant 41 points to take top spot in Division One in the monthly Saturday Stableford.
Tristan Kershaw finished second with a score of 41 points, losing to a better back nine but with Tristan being an ex-captain he took the 40th Anniversary Jug.
In Division Two it was Mark Ainscough, with 39 points, who took top spot.
In Division Three it was Liam Whittleston who scored 38 points.
