IT was a superb day played in glorious sunshine for members of Downes Crediton Golf Club when they played in the Seniors Captains away day at Thurlestone Golf Club.

A total of 36 senior members took part.

Paul Dorothy, winner of the Colin Smith trophy with Peter Blinkhorn.

Division One and overall winner of the Gerry Mannell trophy was Andy Rogers.

Division Two winner of the Colin Smith trophy was Paul Dorothy. 

The two trophies were presented by Downes Senior Captain, Peter Blinkhorn.
