YET again, the heavy rain took its toll on Crediton Youth FC fixtures last weekend.
The U14’s were fortunate that their Plate semi final tie away at Lympstone went ahead. Goals from Alfie Williams Greenwood, Fletcher Clark and Zak Cheriet saw them progress through to the final.
Also away, were the U13’s who travelled to Exmouth United. They lost out 4-2, with Ethan Moore and Luis Matthews getting their goals.
The U10’s Panthers travelled to Starcross Dons for a friendly. They ran out winners with player of the match Fraser Page, Neneh Richards, Dexter Hughes and Leo Hargreaves amongst their goal scorers.
Sunday saw the U18’s host league leaders Bideford in the cup. They lost out 8-1.
The two Crediton Youth U11’s girls sides played against each other in a friendly.
The Youth side edged out the Blues in a cracking game of football.
Amongst the goal scorers for the Youth side were Eva Malik, Freya Chesney, Marnie Harris, Merryn Eatherley and Rosie Hillier with a delightful chip.
The Blues goals came from Emily Walshe and Talia Greenwood, one of which was an absolute thunder bolt.
