CREDITON Youth U16’s had to work hard to come away from Culm Sampford with all three points last Saturday.

Lots of chances went begging, before Rhys Ebdy got the vital goal in their 1-0 victory.

It was a bad day at the office for the U15’s as they lost out 7-1 at Feniton. Jake Shepherd got the Crediton goal with a wonderful free kick.

The U13’s opposition were unable to raise a side, so they took on the U12’s in a friendly to give both sides a useful run out.

Another tight affair saw the U11’s lose out by a single goal as they hosted Colyton.

Not the best of days for the U9’s as they returned from West Exe Youth with just one victory.

The U8’s travelled to Cranbrook and both their sides had a very productive morning.

At home the U7’s continued their fine progress as they took on sides from Exmouth Town. It was three victories and one narrow defeat for them.

Sunday should have been County cup action for the U16 girls against Axminster, but unfortunately they were handed a bye as their opponents could not raise a side to travel to Lords Meadow.

It was County cup action for the U12 youth girls as well. They saw off Newton Fire 4-0 at home.

Merryn Eatherley with a hat-trick a goal from Emily Walshe saw them through to the next round. Merryn and Neneh Richards shared the player of the match award.

The U12 Blues were finally edged out 5-2 as they entertained Feniton. Emily Fricker got both the Crediton goals, with Amelia Abbot taking the player of the match award.

What a great morning it was for the U10 girls at Cranbrook, as they returned with four wins.
