10am to 4pm - ‘Arts in the Park’ - a free day of creative fun in Newcombes Meadow, sculpting workshop, circus skills, performances of ‘Bin Rat’, drum workshop, Cyanotype printing workshop, free barbecue, Newcombes Meadow, free. 11am to 5pm - and 18th, Sampford Courtney, go along and experience life in the Tudor Times, Village Green and Church Rooms, archery display, display of armour, dress the lady, barbecue, live music, living village, Tudor crafts, soldiers march, and 6pm on August 18, Commemorative Church Service.
2pm to 5pm - Summer Fete for ELF at Homefield, Bow (EX17 6HU). Stalls, crafts, silent auction, toys, books, raffle, cakes and cream teas at just £5. There will be plenty of parking available.

2.30pm - Spreyton Flower, Craft and Produce Show opens to the public, children’s sports, cream teas, a tombola and a raffle, auction of produce 5pm, proceeds from the day will go to the Royal National Institute of Blind People, Cancer Research UK and the Spreyton Village Trust.
6.45pm - Doors Open for Eyes Down at 7.30pm for Meat Bingo, Boniface Centre, Crediton, in aid of Holy Cross Church.

7pm - Open-air double-bill of Shakespeare plays is coming up at Lapford Mill, Twelfth Night and A Midsummer Night’s Dream, hot and cold food available as well as a bar, total runtime is two hours including a 20-minute interval.
