BUS timetables in the Crediton area are set to change. 

There will be a number of timing adjustments from Sunday, September 1 “following a review of passenger demand for travel between Exeter and Crediton”, Stagecoach said. 

Customers will no longer have to change buses at North Tawton on the 5A service at certain times of day. 

The majority of 5B services will now be double-decker buses to accommodate Exeter College students and commuters. 

The Monday to Friday 5B service journey from Exeter to Barnstaple at 4.30pm will now leave at 4.45pm, and go via Morchard Road instead of North Tawton and Bow. 

Buses will also use the new bus gate on New North Road in the city for journeys towards Exeter Bus Station via Sidwell Street and no longer serve Longbrook Street or York Road.
