A TOTAL 13 girls and four leaders from 4th Crediton Brownies had a weekend in London over the summer holidays.

They travelled by train to London and used the underground and buses for their journeys.

They stayed at the Girlguiding London Activity Centre ICANDO which is located in Buckingham Palace Road.

Caroline Isaac, Brown Owl, said of the visit: “We had lots of adventures - we visited Pax Lodge (the World Girlguiding Centre),

The Princess Diana Memorial Park, the Natural History Museum and went on London Eye.

“We went to the Theatre Royal to watch “Frozen” the musical, to the Shrek Adventure, to Westminster Abbey for the Baden-Powell Memorial and we also watched the changing of the guard.

“We all wore tie-dyed t-shirts we made for the weekend.

“We walked 19 miles in total but it was a great weekend and many memories were made for the girls and leaders.”
