CREDITON Town Council is preparing for an exciting weekend as part of the King’s Coronation celebrations.
As part of the celebrations, it has organised the following events for Crediton residents to enjoy:
Sunday, May 7: King’s Coronation Big Lunch on Crediton Town Square from 12 noon – 4pm – join the event for music, food stalls (or take your own picnic) and community celebration.
Monday, May 8: The Big Help Out – Why not take a photograph of yourself making Crediton look fab? Send the Town Council this photo (maybe weeding the pavement outside your home, volunteering with a local community group or litter picking in an open space) and the council will make a montage of all the photos and share it to its social media platforms.
Town Clerk Rachel Avery said: “It is really exciting to be commemorating King Charles III’s Coronation this year; we are hoping for sunshine and for our wonderful community to come along and celebrate with us.”
Information has been published on the Crediton Town Council Facebook page and on the website, along with posters in and around the town. For further information, please contact the Lisa Blake (Projects and Services Officer) on 01363 773717 or by emailing: [email protected] .
