CREDITON and District u3a is set to host a talk on the parallels between Peter the Great and Vladimir Putin. 

Air Commodore Andrew Lambert will speak in the Boniface Centre on Wednesday, August 21 from 10am to 12pm. 

Entry costs £1.50 and includes refreshments. 

Peter the Great was Tsar and Emperor of Russia in the 17th and 18th centuries. Vladimir Putin is the current president of Russia. 

The meeting is open to everyone including non-members.
