DUNSFORD Amateur Dramatic Society invite you to take a journey to the far off kingdom of Xanadu.
The evil Vizeer Vaseem has taken over his brother the Sultan's kingdom, using a spell enhanced by the Staff of Power.
Go along and see how the plot unfolds at Dunsford Village Hall when the Society presents "Ali Baba and four-and-a-half thieves" from January 14 to 21.
Can good triumph over evil to help Ali save the beautiful Lady Meena from Vaseem's control?
Along the way you will meet "Lady" Delilah, the Vizeers long suffering wife and Farouk the Ferocious "King" of the desert.
Ali Baba and his band of loveable rogues and a Genie with attitude who helps Ali to escape the cave of banishment.
Written and Directed by Ilona English, it will be performed by members of the community, young and old.
This classic tale has been completely re-invented with all the pantomime characters you love. A beautiful princess, a hilarious dame and even a genie!
