A CREDITON garden is to be opened to the public to raise funds for Hospiscare.
Four Golden Joy, EX17 1EA, will be open on Saturday, June 15 and Sunday, June 16 from 2pm to 5pm.
It is described as a “good-sized garden that has been redesigned and planted over the last three years”, with the front having named specimen plants in gravel and the back a mixture of shrubs, herbaceous plants, a rockery and climbing roses.
Devon folksinger Jim Causley will be performing on Saturday.
Dogs are not allowed. There will be a toilet available for use and parking on the road nearby.
Refreshments in the form of tea and cake will be provided.
There will be limited mobility access with assistance.
Entry will be by donation with proceeds going to Hospiscare.
Just 18 per cent of Hospiscare’s funding comes from the NHS, and the rest from charitable donations.
