A RALLY of vintage cars is set to be held in Lapford. 

The event will take place on Saturday, June 15, from 12pm to 5.30pm at Lapford Playing Field. 

Entry is by donation and there will be various stalls, a bar, a barbecue run by the Congregational Chapel and light refreshments available. 

All dogs must be kept on leads, organisers said. 

Lapford is located to the north-west of Crediton on the A377 and has a railway station. 

The playing field can be found off Church Close in the centre of the village. 

The event is being held in aid of the Lapford Youth Playing Field Trust. 

Last year’s event raised as much as £475 for the trust and featured a wide variety of vintage and steam-powered vehicles.
