EXMOUTH Community College has joined the Ted Wragg Trust, of which Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton is part.

Founded in 2013, the latest addition means the multi-academy trust now has as many as 18 Devon schools and 15,500 students under its umbrella.

Exmouth Community College Headteacher Tom Inman said: “We are completely committed to serving our wonderful local community by giving our families a really strong secondary school.

“We are delighted to be joining the Ted Wragg Trust because we know it will provide the expertise, support and resources to enable us to do that.

“We are really excited about what the future will bring.”

Ted Wragg Trust CEO Moira Marder added: “We are delighted to welcome everyone at Exmouth Community College to our Ted Wragg Trust family of schools.

“Exmouth is a school deeply rooted in its community and I am really excited by our partnership being formalised.

The Ted Wragg Trust comprises All Saints C of E Academy in Plymouth, Cranbrook Education Campus, Exmouth Community College, Exwick Heights Primary School, Honiton Community College, Isca Academy in Exeter, Lipson Academy in Plymouth, Marine Academy Primary in Plymouth, Marine Academy Plymouth, Matford Brook Academy in Exeter, Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton, St James School in Exeter, St Luke’s C of E School in Exeter, Sidmouth College, Tor Bridge High in Plymouth, West Exe School in Exeter and the Whipton Barton Federation of two schools and a nursery in Exeter.
