NEW bus timetables for the Crediton area are now in effect.

Timings have been adjusted “following a review of passenger demand for travel between Exeter and Crediton”, Stagecoach said. 

Passengers do not have to change buses at North Tawton anymore at certain times of the day on the 5A service.

Most 5B services are now double-decker buses to allow more space for Exeter College students and commuters. In addition, the Monday to Friday 5B service journey from Exeter to Barnstaple at 4.30pm now leaves at 4.45pm, and goes via Morchard Road instead of North Tawton and Bow. 

Buses also now use the new bus gate on New North Road in the city for journeys towards Exeter Bus Station via Sidwell Street and no longer serve Longbrook Street or York Road.
