PART of the A377 between Copplestone and Crediton is to be shut overnight for almost three weeks.
The road will be closed from the midway point between Dulings Meadow and Elston Lane to just before Knowle Lane between 7pm and 7am from Monday, September 9 until Friday, September 27.
The resurfacing work is scheduled to begin at 7pm on Monday, September 9 and finish at 7am on Friday, September 27.
The diversion route will be via Crediton, Cowley, Alphington, the A30 to Whiddon Down, North Tawton, Bow, Copplestone and vice versa.

Separately, a partial closure of the one-way system through Copplestone due to an unstable wall at former pub the Cross Hotel has been lifted.
It had been in place since the second week of August.
