TOMORROW afternoon, Friday, October 4 and during the morning of Saturday, October 5, Crediton Library will be hosting its sixth annual Fun Palace.
The Friday afternoon fun will include carpet bowls in the library, available for anyone to drop in and try.
On Saturday morning, from 10am to 12 noon, a talented artist will be offering her time and materials for everyone to try Macramé.
During this two-hour workshop those who go along will learn the basic knots and techniques used in this craft to create original designs for their home, including Christmas decorations and handmade presents such as a stylish plant holder.
A Library spokesperson said: “This is a unique opportunity we have been offered by an expert teacher, so we do hope you can join us! No prior experience necessary and open to all ages, free-of-charge.”
Fun Palaces is an annual weekend of arts, sport and science events created by, for and with local people.
Fun Palaces is free and is open to all. If you’ve got something to share with others that you’d like to host at this year’s Fun Palace at Crediton Library, the library staff would love to hear from you.
Please do drop in to Crediton Library and try one of the two events we have planned so far.
