PUPILS and staff at Landscore Primary School have dressed up as their favourite fictional characters for World Book Day.
Children enjoyed a fun-filled day on Thursday, March 6, swapping classes to listen to their teachers’ favourite stories.
Crediton’s community-owned bookshop The Bookery also visited the school the day before as part of its fortnight of 17 local primary school visits for World Book Day.
The bookshop showcased its “Top Titles for 2025”, a collection of 24 new books of differing difficulties for children between four and 12 years of age.
Landscore pupils listened to extracts and summaries and had a chance to buy the discounted books. The school also bought a collection for its library.
