VISITORS walking into Tedburn St Mary Village Hall for the village’s annual Spring Flower Show commented on the lovely scent of the flowers on display.

Organiser Jackie Titchen said that there were more than 100 entries in classes submitted by 25 adults and three children.

Flora Parkinson (5), won the Children’s Cup for the best home-grown item and for most points in the children’s section at Tedburn St Mary Spring Show.  AQ 5740

Martin Rich received the Shield for Most Points and Flora Parkinson (5), the Children’s Cup for the best home-grown item.

Cynthia Donald received the Shield for Best Exhibit in the Show, her vase of Witch Hazel.

Sara’s School received a First Prize for the display of Handprints.

Children’s Easter card winners were 1 Kirsty Fairborn and Keira Stephenson, 2 Holly Clements and 3 Sophie Darby.
