CREDITON’S award-winning bookshop, The Bookery, is hosting a summer evening of Crime with Sarah Pearse in conversation from 7pm on July 17. 

She will talk about her writing career and how the news and her travels inspire her writing.  

She will be joined by chair, Natasha Harding, book columnist and Literary Editor at “The Sun”. 

Sarah's debut bestseller “The Sanitorium", was a Reese Witherspoon Book Club Pick and became an instant Number 1 “Sunday Times” Bestseller, winning Crime Book of the Year at the 2022 Capital Crime Fingerprint Awards and the 2022 Dead Good Readers Awards.

Her second novel "The Retreat" was also Top 10 “Sunday Times” Bestseller.
