THERE is traffic chaos in the Crediton area this morning as two main roads have been shut with another partially closed.

The A3072 between Crediton and Bickleigh is blocked both ways due to a fallen tree near the Shobrooke turn-off.

The A377 is closed both ways between Crediton and Copplestone due to an obstruction on the road.

The A377 is also partially blocked due to a fallen tree and fallen power cables just outside Newton St Cyres. Traffic is coping well, police said.
