A CREDITON woman who makes bespoke memorial jewellery is to appear on a BBC television programme.

Andie Durnell, 26, of Forget-Me-Not Keepsakes will feature on BBC One’s Make It at Market at 3.45pm on Wednesday, March 12.

Among the items she makes are rings with glass settings infused with the ashes of loved ones and keepsakes made using a mother's breastmilk. She can also incorporate hair or fur into mementos.

Make It at Market helps entrepreneurs make a living out of their crafting hobby. It features The Repair Shop's Dom Chinea and a team of business and craft experts.

Ms Durnell said the show, which was filmed last year, helped her learn how to run a business and gave her the confidence and mental-health boost she needed to succeed.

“Since filming this programme, it really has been my saving grace when trying to take my business from a part-time hobby to my full-time adventure; from a tiny bedroom desk to a commercial workshop unit that I now rent in Crediton,” she said.

“Each piece I create is designed and fabricated with unconditional care and love, transforming precious sentiments into beautiful, wearable memories.

“Whether you're looking to a personal keepsake to honour a loved one or you just want to own a piece of everyday, handmade jewellery, I'm here to craft something truly special for you.

“I hope my creations bring you as much comfort and joy as they do to me.”

Forget-Me-Not Keepsakes is based at Westward Business Centre on Mill Street in Crediton.
