A GREAT way to share the joy of music and dance comes with The Turning Tides Project’s “Dancing in the Woods” in the beautiful garden they have created above Four Mills Lane at Crediton.
Led by a team of dancers with and without learning disability, sharing and telling stories through movement, it is a chance for anyone to bathe in nature and create a beautiful piece of dance.
All abilities are welcome on Mondays from 2pm to 3pm at the garden. The first session is free and thereafter the suggested donation is £5 per session.
To find out more, look at The Turning Tides Project website. This project has been supported by the League of Friends of Crediton Hospital and its Community Patients.
A chance to take part comes with the invitation to join its performance “Other” as part of Crediton’s Christmas Lights Switch-On event on Saturday, November 25.
“Other” is a piece of music and dance drama inspired by stories and feelings of being left out, isolated or especially focused on because of difference.
It will be performed at 2pm on November 25 and anyone who would like to take part then should join the team for a rehearsal from 1.30pm to 3pm on Friday, November 24 on Crediton Town Square.
The Turning Tides Project especially thank the League of Friends of Crediton Hospital for supporting the project.
