Drivers in and around Mid Devon will have eight National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
But the news isn't too bad, with all of them only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that two closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 8pm February 15 to 6am March 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 29 to junction 28 carriageway closed for carriageway reconstruction/renew works. Diversion via B3181.
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:
• M5, from 10pm March 4 to 6am March 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 27 closed between exit and entry slip road for electrical works. Diversion via exit and entry slip road.
• M5, from 9am to 3pm on March 6, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 29 to 28, hard shoulder closure for barrier works.
• M5, from 8pm March 7 to 6am March 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to junction 27 carriageway closed for carriageway reconstruction/renew works. Diversion via B3181 and A38.
• M5, from 8pm March 8 to 6am March 12, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 entry slip road closed for carriageway reconstruction/renew works. Diversion via B3181 and A38 to M5, junction 27.
• M5, from 8pm March 12 to 6am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 28 to junction 27 carriageway closed for carriageway reconstruction/renew works. Diversion via B3181 and A38.
• A30, from 6am to 3pm on March 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 eastbound, Whiddon Down to Woodleigh lane closure for horticultural works.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
