CREDITON Town Council showed its support for the Armed Forces to mark Armed Forces Week on Monday, June 19.

The Deputy Mayor of Crediton, Cllr Steve Huxtable, attended a ceremony at the Town flagpole, which was also attended by the Town Clerk, Mrs Rachel Avery, Councillor Frank Letch, Crediton Royal British Legion branch member Peter Brewer and representatives from Crediton Army Cadets.

Armed Forces Day will take place on Saturday, June 24 and is a day when the whole nation is invited to show support for our military community, both serving and retired, at home and abroad.
