PART of the A3072 between Crediton and Bickleigh will be shut for 13 days next month.
The road from Nomansland Farm to Westwood Farm will be closed for the second phase of Devon County Council drainage works from Thursday, July 11 with an anticipated finish of Wednesday, July 24.
The first phase took place from April 30 and lasted 10 days.
The diversion route will be via the A377 through Newton St Cyres, Cowley Bridge and the A396 through Stoke Canon to Bickleigh.

Motorists should also be aware there are temporary traffic lights on the A3072 Exhibition Road, and that Old Tiverton Road, Stonewall Lane and Pedlerspool Lane are all shut for the construction of a new roundabout.
This is to allow a new road to be built into a 257-home development.
There are indications this could last until the beginning of August.
