CREDITON Youth FC U16s returned to action with a 2-0 victory away at Brixington Blues, Ollie Harris and Rhys Edby getting the goals.
The U15s had a big win away at Moors Youth. Moors went 1-0 up and then missed a penalty. Seb Roche held his nerve to draw the Crediton lads level when they were awarded a spot kick.
Shortly afterwards they were awarded another, only this time for Roche’s penalty to be saved by the keeper but he managed to net the rebound to give his side a 2-1 half time lead.
It took some strong defending in the second half to keep the home side at bay, before a superb counter attack saw a Zak Cheriet goal seal a 3-1 victory.
It was another great performance from the U11s away at Lympstone Lions.
But they had to settle for a 2-2 draw with Joey Carpenter and Noah Pugsley getting on the scoresheet. Hugh Swain took the player of the match award.
The U9s were also away as they took on sides from Alphington and Kennford. They ended the day with two wins and two defeats.
Sunday saw the U12 youth girls win 4-0 away at Cullompton. Their goals came from Freya Chesney, Izzy Steward, Mia Liebenberg-White and Neneh Richards.
It was also a fine morning for the U12 Blues as they edged out Stoke Hill 3-2. Mollie Carr grabbed another brace.
The U8 girls took on sides from Sidmouth and Starcross and were really pleased with their morning as they returned with one win, one draw and a defeat. Amongst the goals for them were Amelia Holland, Ettie Bruni, Ivy Doyle and Octavia Abbott.
Ifracombe Town was the destination for the U18s for a league cup tie. It was not to be their day as they lost out 2-1 with Harry Welsh getting their goal.
