IT was again, another frustrating weekend for many Crediton Youth Football Club sides, as Friday’s heavy rain saw many postponements.
Sunday did see some action for some of the girls sides.
The U12 Youth girls were again edged out by their rivals Braunton Wanderers.
Despite being 2-1 up at the break in their County Cup quarter final, it was the home side who progressed with a 4-2 victory. The Crediton goals came from Emily Walshe and Talia Greenwood as their great County Cup run comes to an end.
It was league action for the U12 Blues who lost out 4-0 away at Feniton.
The U8 girls travelled to Paignton to take on sides from Cullompton and Watcombe Wanderers.
Despite two defeats their coaches were so proud of their development and commitment on a very wet morning.
