TUESDAY, July 2 saw a wonderful exhibition of tag rugby, hosted by Crediton RFC and played by more than 250 children from local primary schools.

Scott Baker from Crediton Rugby Club, said: “There was excitement, enthusiasm and enjoyment for all.
“All of the finals were closely contested with Copplestone beating Hayward's White in the Plate Final with a great “Golden Try” in extra time.

“In the Cup Final, even the “Golden Try” was unable to separate the teams and both sides, Newton St Cyres and Hayward's Black, agreed to share the win.
“It was a fantastic day and special thanks go to the referees for helping to keep things on track throughout with their positive support. Thanks for a great day everyone!”
