COPPLESTONE United FC is gauging interest in forming its first-ever girls’ team.
It would be for girls aged 13 to 14 going into school years eight and nine.
Trials would take place in June ahead of next season.
“As our club continues to grow, we are looking at the possibility of forming our first ever girls' team,” a spokesperson said.

Formed in 2005, the football club now has seven teams. Its U15 and U13 sides recently travelled to Dokkum in the Netherlands to take part in the Bonifatiuscup.
Copplestone is a village located around four and a half miles west of Crediton.
