I WOULD like to make you all aware that Dave Job, a friend of Crediton Football Club, has sadly passed away.

Dave had been involved with our club from the 1980s and dedicated many hours keeping our finances together as treasurer.

Dave also had a spell as club chairman and was match days public announcer until 2020. Dave worked tirelessly to help get the club to where it is today.

Dave and his wife Sheila were regular match ball sponsors, Dave also a former linesman and Honorary Life President.

Our thoughts are with Sheila.

He will be greatly missed by us all.

His funeral is on March 6 at 11.30am in Crediton Parish Church, his final journey leaving Crediton United FC at 11.15am, and the wake will be in his second home, Crediton Football Club.

Everyone who has known Dave over the years, please come and support Sheila.
