A FOUR Ball Better Ball competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, April 12 where the competitors battled for the Barnes Cup.
Division One and the Barnes Cup were won by Richard and Billy Salter with 47 points with Captain Stuart Tolley and Lee Pengelly in second place with 46 points.
Third place went to Kevin Cornwall and Alan Searle with 45 points and in fourth came Kevin Pedrick and Chris Walsh on 44 points.
Division Two was won by Gary and Finn Carey on 46 points.
In second place, on 45 points, were Nick Dudley-Warde and Nick Redman followed, in third place, by Alan Dunn and Richard Johnson with 44 points and Pete and Archie Grant in fourth with 43 points.
The charming Par 68 parkland course is located off Tors Road, Okehampton.
It is sheltered by the highest tors of Dartmoor, on the northern edge of Devon’s magnificent National Park.
