ONCE again it was another busy week for Crediton Youth FC sides.
The U15 boys started the week with a 2-0 away win at West Hill Wasps with Rhys Ebdy and Zach Mildon sharing the goals.
They also saw midweek action away at Honiton but had to settle for a frustrating 0-0 draw last Thursday evening.
There was also midweek action for the U18 boys with an away game at Clyst Valley. Goals from Greg Mildon and Will Bragg saw them pick up three valuable points.
It was also two midweek games for the U14 boys who picked up maximum points in their quest to be league champions.
They entertained Okehampton and ran out 5-1 winners with Seb Roche grabbing a hat-trick, Alfie Williams Greenwood and Zak Cheriet also on the scoresheet.
Later in the week they travelled to Exmouth United and returned with a 3-1 result. The goals coming from Jake Shepherd, Seb Roche and Zak Cheriet that night.
Friday evening, saw the U13 girls take on Newton Fire and two goals from Lexi Mullen and one from Eva gave them a 3-0 victory.
The U12 boys had two midweek home fixtures. Firstly they had a great 6-3 victory over Central Corinthians with Oliver Brimilcombe getting a hat-trick, Casey Philp two and Charlie Williams also on target.
Next up was Twyford Spartans, but despite putting in a tremendous performance they lost out 3-1 with Jayden Saunders getting their goal.
Weekend fixtures saw the U15 boys maintain their push for the title with a 3-1 win away at Culm Sampford, with Harry Norman, Mckenzie Issac and Zach Mildon on the scoresheet.
At home were the U13’s, who had a superb result against Whipton Youth Wanderers.
Doubles came from Ethan Moore and Luis Matthews with Amber Zhang, George Strawson and Lexi Mullen getting further goals which capped a fine morning for them.
The U11’s had two away friendlies. Saturday saw them travel to Broadclyst and return with a 1-1 draw with Finn Moore getting the goal. Sunday saw them travel to Bovey Tracey and run out winners with Euan O’Neil, Luke Beetlestone and Will Mullen amongst the goals.
Sunday saw the U18’s host Tiverton Town and lose out 7-2.
It was another busy morning of girls football at Lords Meadow. The U9’s two sides had a great morning of football against Twyford Spartans.
Both U11 sides were at home as well. The Blues also hosted Twyford and they ran out comfortable winners.
The Youth side took on Starcross Dons and also had a decent victory.
