THE James Uren Award, for the best young referee to officiate at Crediton Youth FC’s home fixtures last year, has been awarded to Jess Sandland.

Jess played her youth football at Crediton Youth and the club put her through the referee’s course.

She still continues to help coach the U11 girls sides.

Receiving the award capped a fine weekend for Jess as she received two awards at the Exeter City FC awards evening.

She picked up the Woman’s side’s Young Player of the Season award and the Fans Player of the Year award.

Crediton Youth FC is very proud of Jess’s achievements since progressing from youth football at the club.
