LOCAL football team Lapford AFC has recently taken on a new sponsor, Radio Jupiter, for the rest of the season. 

Radio Jupiter is a modern internet-based radio station, fully licensed in the UK, playing classic and current hits from its massive library which is constantly being updated. 

One of the station’s presenters, Chris Tees, is an avid football fan who makes every effort to watch Lapford whenever he visits his parents who live in the area.

He suggested that a sponsorship deal would be a benefit to both parties. 

Carol Cooke, Radio Jupiter Manager, said: “We are proud to sponsor Lapford AFC.

“We are a not-for-profit station, mainly staffed by a team of dedicated volunteers who continue to provide a professional sounding service and deserve to get the name of our station out into the community.”
