THERE have been a lot of evening fixtures for Crediton Youth FC sides. 

The U16’s came out on top of a nine goal thriller against West Exe Youth. Ben Betts led the scoring with four and Alfie Chard got the other in their 5-4 victory at Lords Meadow. 

It was another useful three points for the U15’s following their 3-0 win away at Brixington Blues. Their goals came from a Zach Mildon double and one from Dan Burgess.

The U14’s took on league leaders Stoke Hill and ran out 4-1 winners. The home side’s goals came from Tomas Harris, Zak Cheriet and two from Seb Roche.

A goal in the last minute saw the U18’s lose out 2–1 to Clyst Valley, in what had been a thoroughly entertaining game which deserved to end all square.

Saturday morning saw the U15’s host Dawlish United. and after a slow start they finally ended up 7-0 winners.

Another two for Zach Mildon, and singles for Harry Norman, Hayden Leach and  Isaac Hillier, with Rhys Ebdy on his return from injury also getting in on the act with two. 

The U14’s had another great result as they put in a strong performance against Twyford Spartans. Seb Roche led the scoring with four, two from Alfie Williams Greenwood and further goals from Billy Dymond and Zak Cheriet ended a good week for them.

It was a local derby for the U11’s as they entertained Newton St Cyres. They ran out winners with Evan Leach, Finn Moore, Jacob Sweeney, Luke Beetlesone and Will Mullen amongst their goal scorers. 

In the late kick off at Lords Meadow the U16’s lost out 4-1 to Alphington with Gabriel Smith getting the Creddy goal. 

On the road the U13’s also lost out 4-1 at Axminster with George Strawson getting their goal.

The U8’s returned from their derby day at Copplestone with four wins.

Sunday saw the U13 girls edged out 2–1 at home to Starcross Dons.

Both U11 Girls sides were in action. The Blues travelled to Stoke Hill and put in a resilient performance and shared the points after twice coming from behind with Imogen Treen and Talia Greenwood getting their goals.

The Youth side were away at Ottery St Mary. They put in an impressive performance and ran out winners with Eva Malik, Freya Chesney and Izzy Steward amongst their goal scorers.

Back in action again were the U9 girls who travelled to Torbay and took on two very useful Torquay United Community Sports sides.
