GROUND staff at Crediton Bowling Club have recently completed an upgrade of two of the ditches around the bowling club green.

The gutters now look very smart with some artificial grass to soften the bowls which fall into them.

Roy Andrews, one of the groundsmen, explained that winter feeding of the grass would begin in the very near future.
