IT can be difficult to get people to attend Annual General Meetings!

Those three words do not inspire enthusiasm, however, Zeal Monachorum Village Hall’s AGM on Monday, November 18, from 7.15pm for 7.30pm, will be worth residents attending.

They will be able to: hear about progress on restoration works on their Village Hall and what’s going to be done next; elect the Committee and also stand for election themselves; take the opportunity to ask questions and to comment on all aspects of the charity’s work and then enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with cheese and biscuits.

This will be followed by a slide show of photographs showing 50 years of village life from the 1970s to the present day.
