AT about 10pm on Monday, September 23, a car in the car park at Parliament House struck a wall which has resulted in more than 100 bricks landing on the pavement and on the road in Parliament Street, Crediton.

It is not believed that anyone was seriously injured and there were believed to be no pedestrians on the pavement at the time.

However, the bricks are this morning, Tuesday, September 24, still across the pavement and part of the road causing a hazard for pedestrians.

There are no cones or warning signs around the hazard.

Pedestrians are walking in the road and motorists are also advised to take extra care.
