AGE Concern Crediton has issued an appeal for volunteers.

It is looking for people to help particularly with befriending, its day centre on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and drivers (using its vehicle) to help provide door-to-door transport.

“If you have some spare time, like talking to and meeting people, and looking to help your local community, then why not become a volunteer,” a spokesperson said.

“Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and support the work Age Concern Crediton does in the community.

“It's also a great way to make a real difference to someone's life.”
