TWO vehicles parked on a narrow street, Church Street in Crediton, are causing dramatic traffic issues in the town.

Cars are just able to pass the red VW Camper van and grey coloured Kia Picanto car in the one-way street but vans and lorries are unable to get through.

Many motorists in vehicles larger than a car are having to reverse up Church Street to Belle Parade often causing many vehicles to have to reverse.

The car was first parked there on Wednesday or Thursday of last week, the van a later addition.

Crediton Town Council says it has received a lot of communication about the vehicles and says it has emailed Devon County Council, as the Highways Authority, and Crediton Police.

The current advice is to seek an alternative route.
