A TRACTOR was involved in a road traffic accident on the A377 at Newton St Cyres this morning, Wednesday, September 25. 

It is unknown if anyone was seriously injured or if another vehicle or person was involved but an ambulance did attend.

The incident took place opposite the allotments.

The tractor is currently being recovered and a telehandler is being used (9.30am).

Traffic is now able to pass in both directions, recovery taking place in a pull-in.
