CREDITON and District u3a will be hosting a talk on the Nobel Prize next week.
Guest speaker Ashley Jones will explain the history of the world’s most prestigious international prize in the Boniface Centre on Wednesday, May 15.
The event will take place from 10am to 12pm and cost £1.50. Refreshments will be available.
“This meeting is open to everyone including non-members,” a spokesperson said.

Nobel Prizes are awarded for “contributions that have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind” in the areas of physiology or medicine, physics, chemistry, economics, peace and literature.
The Boniface Centre can be found next to Crediton Parish Church.
