A VILLAGE fair is to be held in Spreyton.
Described as “a day filled with fun, music and games”, it will take place on Saturday, June 15 from 1pm to 5pm at Spreyton Village Hall playing fields.
It will feature a pork barbecue, a bar, afternoon teas from 3pm, live music by the Alley Katz, various stalls and craft exhibitions, a dog show, a family “It’s a Knockout” competition, maypole dancing, a raffle, tug-of-war and more.
In the evening, the Tom Cobley Tavern will be holding a quiz and serving a set meal for £14. Booking is essential.
The 60th anniversary of the bell ringing competition will take place throughout the day in the church.
Any donations suitable for the tombola and prizes for games would be much appreciated, organisers said, as would offerings of cakes and scones for the afternoon teas.
Anyone wishing to help and give their time setting up or during the afternoon would also be very welcome.
Proceeds will be divided between St Michael's Church and Spreyton Primary School.
Tables selling items will be charged £5 per table.
