A NUMBER of Sandford residents have been thanked for their contribution to the community by Sandford Parish Council.

The presentations took place at the Sandford Annual Parish Meeting held in the Parish Hall on Thursday, March 28.

Certificates were presented by the Parish Council chair, Richard Ward.

The recipients included:

Steve McCulloch - for his work with the Millennium Green

Di Martin - for her work with the Millennium Green/shop/weeding

Margaret Phillips - for the 200 Club and charity fundraising

Steve Voysey - Sandford AFC

Francis Warren - Sandford AFC

Chris O’Connor - Sandford Scene Facebook Page

Chris Theedom - Sandford Cricket Club

Strawberry Fair Team - FOSS

Volunteers - Sandford Stores.

Not present – Jean Hope - for Care given (St Swithun’s Church), Seb Pope - Quiz night/charity fundraising (at the Lamb Inn).
