A SECTION of the A3072 between Crediton and Bickleigh is to be shut for as long as 25 days.

Exhibition Road will be closed from Bramble Lane to the junction of Old Tiverton Road from Monday, August 5 with an anticipated finish of Friday, August 30.
This will allow the road to be dug up for electric cables to be laid as part of a new 257-home housing development.
The diversion route will be via the A377 through Newton St Cyres, Cowley Bridge and the A396 through Stoke Canon to Bickleigh and the A3072 back to the closure point.

This closure is in addition to another separate 13-day closureof the same road between July 11 and July 24 from Nomansland Farm to Westwood Farm for the second phase of Devon County Council drainage works.
