Drivers in and around Mid Devon will have six National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.
And two of them are expected to cause moderate delays – with motorists facing waits of between 10 minutes and half an hour.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
• M5, from 9am July 18 2022 to 11.59pm August 29 2027, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5, junction 28 to 29 hard shoulder closure in both directions for parapet works.
And a further five closures will begin over the next seven days:
• M5, from 10pm September 23 to 6am September 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M5 both directions, junction 27 to 28 mobile lane closure for surveys.
• A30, from 8pm September 29 to 4am October 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 westbound, South Tawton lane closure for vegetation works.
• A30, from 8pm October 3 to 6am October 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A30 both directions Moor Lane, Exeter to Daisymount, Ottery St Mary carriageway closure for maintenance works.
• M5, from 9pm October 3 to 6am October 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 southbound, junction 27 entry slip closed for surveys. *diversion via, junction 26 and return.
• M5, from 9pm October 3 to 6am October 4, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M5 northbound, junction 27 exit slip closed for surveys. *diversion via, junction 26 and return.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
